Signed-off AI for financial operations
London AI agency for financial firms. The agent prepares. A person approves.
We build AI agents for the checking, matching and re-keying that fill your operations team's day: reconciliations, onboarding files, trade breaks, report checks. Every decision stays with your people, and every step is logged.
BraivIQ is an AI agency in London for wealth and advice firms, brokers and trading firms, boutique asset managers and payments firms with 10 to 250 staff. It is built and run by the senior team at GCL, who have delivered systems for a global investment bank's trading floor, six UK banking brands and a top-three insurance broker.
Who we work with: financial firms with 10 to 250 people
Big enough to have an operations team. Too small for a bank's IT budget. If client, trade or payment data still gets checked between systems by hand, we should talk. We are starting in London.
- Wealth and advice firms: client data re-keyed between the CRM, platforms and back office, onboarding files chased one document at a time, review packs put together by hand before each meeting.
- Brokers and trading firms: trade breaks and unconfirmed allocations, transaction reports checked line by line, if at all, trade-date confirmations to hit before T+1.
- Boutique asset managers: positions and cash reconciled against the administrator, fee calculations that live in one person's spreadsheet, investor reporting and board packs every quarter.
- Payments, e-money and fintech: safeguarding reconciliations every business day, exceptions spread across banks and processors, the evidence pack your auditor will ask for.
Six jobs our AI agents take off your team's desk
Each agent handles one workflow. It does the preparation. A person makes the call.
- Daily mismatch report. The agent prepares: Checks every record across your CRM, portfolio system and custodian before the team arrives, and lists the real differences with a likely cause for each. A person approves: Each fix, with the evidence beside it.
- Safeguarding reconciliation. The agent prepares: Runs the internal and external reconciliation each business day and writes up every difference it finds. A person approves: The reconciliation, and how each difference is resolved.
- Trade allocations and confirmations. The agent prepares: Matches allocations to confirmations through the day and drafts a chaser for each break. A person approves: Every chaser before it goes, and every break before it closes.
- Client onboarding files. The agent prepares: Builds the file, checks each document is there, legible, in date and consistent, and lists what is missing. A person approves: Whether the file is complete. Taking on the client stays your decision.
- Transaction report checks. The agent prepares: Compares the day's reports with your trade records, looking for missing trades, duplicates and fields that do not match. A person approves: Every correction, and the submission itself.
- MI and board packs. The agent prepares: Pulls the numbers from your systems, checks them against last month and notes what moved. A person approves: Every figure and every word before the pack goes round.
In finance, the risky part of AI is not the model. It is the missing sign-off.
So we design the sign-off in from day one. Every agent goes live with a named owner on your side, a runbook, a manual fallback and a written record of what it does. Our agents never give financial advice, never make investment or client decisions, never move money, never change your systems without a person approving it, and never learn from your client data. Everything they do is logged.
The FCA's review of high-growth firms called for "strengthening evidence of change control, data governance, cyber testing, third-party oversight and operational resilience planning, particularly where firms were introducing new technology, automation, platform changes or AI." The Alpha Agents System: one workflow, four gates, live in 60 days
- Days 1-14: Proof Run and signed baseline. Read-only, on your own exports. We time the work on real cases and you sign the numbers.
- Weeks 3-6: Controlled build. One agent, one workflow, and a human approval point on every decision that matters.
- Weeks 6-8: Parallel run. It works beside your team on live cases until it passes the test you agreed at the start.
- Day 60: Evidenced go-live. A named owner, a runbook and an evidence file your compliance lead can read in one sitting.
- Day 90: Results report. Manual handling before and after, measured against the baseline you signed.
Where our experience comes from
The senior team at GCL spent years shipping systems into capital markets, banking and insurance. That is where we learned what a regulator, an auditor and a nervous head of operations need to see before anything goes live.
- Capital markets: Real-time trade surveillance for one of the world's largest trading floors. Routine compliance monitoring workload cut by more than 70%.
- Retail banking: Digital banking products for six of the UK's biggest financial brands. Six brands built on one shared, tested foundation.
- Insurance and risk: Catastrophe risk modelling for a top-three global insurance broker. Scenario modelling cut from days to minutes.
Questions people ask before the first call
What does BraivIQ do?
BraivIQ is a London AI agency that builds AI agents for the operations teams of UK financial firms. Each agent takes on one manual workflow, such as a daily reconciliation or an onboarding file, does the preparation, and hands the result to a person to approve.
Which firms do you work with?
Financial firms with roughly 10 to 250 staff, starting in London: wealth and advice firms, brokers and trading firms, boutique asset managers, and payments, e-money and fintech companies. The buyer is usually the founder, the COO or the head of operations, with the compliance lead involved from the start.
Is BraivIQ authorised by the FCA?
No. BraivIQ is a technology provider. We do not carry out regulated activities and we do not give financial advice. Our agents prepare work for your people to review, your firm keeps responsibility for its regulated activities, and we write down exactly what each agent does so your compliance lead can assess it.
Will the agents make decisions on their own?
No. The agent prepares and a person approves. Our agents do not give advice, make investment or client decisions or move money, and they do not change your systems unless a person approves the change. Every action is logged.
Are you an AI automation agency or an AI consultancy?
An AI agency in London that builds and runs automation for one sector: financial services. We do not sell strategy decks. Every build ends with an agent in daily use, or the build fee is refunded.
What technology do you use?
Large language models and generative AI from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google, open-weight models where they suit the task, natural language processing for documents and emails, and plain rules or machine learning where those are more reliable. We choose per task, and can swap models later without rebuilding the workflow.
How does pricing work?
Every engagement starts with a 14-day Proof Run for a fixed fee, credited in full if you go ahead within 60 days. Package (live in 30 days) and Full (live in 60 days) are fixed fees, quoted once the Proof Run has shown what your workflow involves. Run and Improve, our ongoing support, is a monthly fee, rolling, with no minimum term. We share prices on the 20-minute call.
Where are you based?
At 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We meet clients in person in London and do most of the build work remotely. Call +44 20 3916 6861 or email contact@braiviq.com.
